ATLAS MAILING LISTS
Three mailing lists have been set up at Ljubljana University. They are
maintained by Urtzi Jauregi and are meant as the primary channel for
help, announcements and discussions on Atlas and the related codes.
Anyone interested is most welcome to subscribe to one or
more of them! The three lists are:
kurucz-discuss
General questions, suggestions, news, etc. about the physics and the
usage of the Kurucz code and data, about the lines of research that use
Kurucz models or spectra, documentation, and everything that is not
specifically covered in other mailing lists (it does
*not*
cover code development; see below for that). This is meant to be the
"main" mailing list, and thus is expected to have moderate- to
high-traffic, depending of the number and activity of the subscribers.
kurucz-announce
Announcement of important events related to the
whole Kurucz community, such as new versions of the programs and/or
data files from Dr. Kurucz, conferences, news, etc. This will be a
low-traffic list.
kurucz-devel
Development and documentation of the source code itself. It does not cover documenting the *usage*
of the programs; that is a subject for kurucz-discuss. You should only
subscribe if you are interested in developing and/or documenting the
code. At this moment we can not estimate the traffic level of
kurucz-devel, since it depends critically on the (yet unknown) number of developers.
